So the next UK general election will be all about who can remove as many environmental measures as possible and that, they think, will be the vote winner this time. Last time it was “get it done”, before that it was “if it’s not hurting it’s not working” and this time it’ll be something like “fuck the planet, we can’t afford it”.

It’s laughable if it wasn’t so heart wrenchingly dangerous because the past few elections environmental measures have been seen as vote winner, they all have “green policies”. But it shows the corruption in the UK. They would put their own granny on the 5th Nov bonfire if they thought it would gain them votes.
